The Buxted Inn

They gave me a new-fashioned room with bar, very good shower and a touch of class. The location nearby a train station was magnificent and handy, most places in Buxted were within reach.

Location so close to the hill as well as train station. Also, to the ferry at Newhaven.

It offers unbeatable, excellent location.

Really good cleanliness contrasted with excessive road noise from the roundabout.

Had a cozy night in a nice room. The digital shower was a revelation, super quick to heat up! Loved the complimentary water and biscuits. The lunch options were kinda small though, could use a little more variety.

We adored our stay! The room was a lovely size with a grand bathroom, and the shower was divine. Customer service was stellar, especially from the fabulous Harry behind the bar.

I did encounter a few plug sockets playing hide and seek-quite frustrating! It was like a game of 'guess which one works'!

The noise from the bar area could be somewhat distracting during the night, and the parking was limited. I really enjoyed my stay, especially the fresh and lovely room décor along with an amazing shower experience that set me up perfectly for each day of exploration, and I appreciated being so close to Tinkers Park and Bridge Cottage Heritage Centre, made my city strolls more fun.

The digital shower in my room was a real treat, easily adjustable for a perfect temperature. The staff were friendly and super helpful. I appreciated the biscuits and specialty teas in the room. Breakfast surprised me a bit with its extra costs for drinks that I expected to be included. The room was clean and modern, although noise from the road outside could be a bit distracting. The parking was convenient, made coming and going easy. I enjoyed my time but wished the breakfast structure was clearer and that the windows provided better soundproofing.

I loved the modern, digitally controlled shower that really elevated my bathroom experience! The wine tasting evening was an absolute blast, with amazing wines and expert insights. Plus, the homemade waffles with blueberries at breakfast were a good treat, a must-try!

Amazing place with excellent wi-fi, free parking, and a cute bar area. I remember my first stay when the staff helped me find a phone charger. I highly recommend it for comfort and service!

The lack of air conditioning made the room uncomfortably warm during peak heat. The breakfast pricing strategy, where each item is charged separately, feels stingy and resulted in a higher-than-expected total. The noise from the common pub area could interrupt the tranquil experience one might expect in a countryside stay.
